Jennifer Chong, (past) Director of Operations

Jennifer previous worked at InVenture as the Director of Operations and was responsible for growing and further engaging the global InVenture community, growing our international banking relations, and taking care of all the operational logistics that keep our organization up and running. 

Prior to InVenture, Jen worked in commercial real estate lending in underwriting and portfolio management, most recently at Deutsche Bank, where she developed an interest in helping under-served communities through the use of micro-credit. Jen has a constant smile, and a knack for breaking things down simply and making all things look pretty. Jen grew up in the Bay Area and graduated with a degree in Business Economics at the University of California - Los Angeles.


Lauren Pruneski, Communications Lead

Lauren wants to make entrepreneurship accessible and available to everyone. It is difficult and sometimes scary, especially when you don‘t have access to key resources and support networks. She believes that InVenture can change this.

Lauren has been our go-to word person since we launched our pilots in 2010, taking our big ideas and gritty technical models and turning them into fun accessible content. She is wholly committed to InVenture‘s mission and to making sure that mission gets heard. She has written and edited for numerous publications and nonprofits, including the National Geographic Society, where she worked for several years as an editor. Lauren holds an M.F.A from University of Michigan and a B.A. in English from Wesleyan University. She is currently working in the marketing department with the Clinton Foundation.


Kristeen Singh, Community Outreach and Events Coordinator

Kristen has been a key member of InVenture‘s team and has helped to plan and execute InVenture‘s 1st Anniversary Party. Kristen works closely with the CEO, Communications, Marketing and Portfolio Management departments. She has brought experience from volunteering in India with an non-profit, Choti Si Asha. She has also managed the recruitment campaign for Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches resulting in a record breaking 5,000 new bone marrow donors in just 3 months. She also created and leads the organization, Blazin‘ Hope. Kristeen currently lives in Los Angeles and graduated from California State University - Long Beach with a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.
